Computer Schematic







1. AC- It supplies power for the computer from a plug in.
2. Audio In- You plug the cord from the computer into the back of the monitor to have sound.
3. VGA In- Vga converts what you are doing on the computer to the monitor.
4. Fan/Vent- The purpose of the Fan/Vent is to cool the computer down and make sure it doesn't overheat.
5. Parallel Port- It is a type of interface to connect various peripheral equipment.
6. Serial Port- A serial port is similar to a Parallel Port, many devices use a serial port including the computer mouse and extra modems.
7. USB Ports- A USB can be used to transfer memory, music, images or programs.
8. Mouse- The mouse plugs in to the back of the computer so you can use the mouse to scroll around.
9. Network Cable- The network cable is a cord that plugs in to the back of the computer so you can get internet on your computer.
10. Keyboard- This cable connects to the keyboard so you can type words and letters.
11. Sound Card- The sound card has ports so you can plug in microphones, speakers or headphones.
12. Power Cable- The power cable connects into a wall plug-in so that your computer has power and can turn on.
